We provide mission critical hosting, that is why we only provide the best in server equipment, your standard hosting company puts your account on one server, including the database, this leads to performance issues but ultimately prolonged downtime incase of an outage, at The Geek Guys, things are different we use Quad Intel Xeon 3.2Ghz processors with up to 4GB of memory, 7200 rpm SATA II hot-swappable hard drives, and 3ware hardware Raid 1. We separate the WWW/Mail and database servers so that you get a noticeable increase in performance, but best of all using our failover technology you get 99.9999% uptime! If one server dies, hypothetically for this example one of our highly trained engineers gets fed up with a server and decides to travel down to our datacentre and smash one of the servers your website is hosted on; Our 24/7 support staff gets notified and proceed to fix the problem, the engineer get fired; But your website remains online, because all the data is mirrored between servers, that’s what puts The Geek Guys in front of the rest!
